Making a transfer

There are a few important things you should know about transfers:

  • An advisor will never ask you to make a transfer to refund or cancel a transaction.
  • You will not be able to cancel a same-day transfer.
  • Some transfers may be subject to verification and blocked by our fraud department. A member of the Britline team will contact you if this is the case.

 

How to make a transfer:

  1. Log in with your account number (11 digits) and personal code (6 digits).
  2. Click on «Virement».
  3. Select the account to be debited.

Important: Transfers to accounts held by anyone other than yourself can only be made from your current account.

  1. Select the account to be credited. Click on "Mes Bénéficiaires" to make a transfer to your existing beneficiaries or click on Ajouter un bénéficiaire. to add a new one.

You can also click on "Mes comptes" to make a transfer to your own Britline accounts (savings or current accounts).

For a one-off transfer:

  1. Select the date of your transfer: Click on "Aujourd'hui" for a transfer today or "Un autre jour" to choose a future date.
  2. Enter the amount.
  3. Add a reason under "motif du virement" and a reference under "Référence" (optional).
  4. Click on "Continuer".
  5. Check the transfer summary.
  6. Click on “Confirmer le virement” to confirm your transfer.
  7. Enter your SécuriPass code (4 digits) or the code received by SMS (if you don't have SécuriPass) to confirm your identity.

For a standing order:

  1. Click on "De manière permanente".
  2. Select the frequency (weekly/monthly/quarterly/semi-annually/annually).
  3. Select the date of your first transfer (not Saturday or Sunday).
  4. Enter the amount.
  5. Add a reason under "Motif du virement" and a reference under "Référence" (optional).
  6. Click on "Continuer".
  7. Check the transfer summary.
  8. Click on "Confirmer le virement" to confirm your transfer.

Your transfer has been done and you will receive a confirmation email in your secure box.

  1. Log in with your personal code (6 digits)
  2. Click on “Transfer” at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Click on “Make a transfer”.
  4. Select the account to be debited.

Important: Transfers to accounts held by anyone other than yourself can only be made from your current account.

  1. Click on "My beneficiaries" to make a transfer to your beneficiaries. You can add a new beneficiary by clicking on Ajouter un bénéficiaire..

You can also click on "My accounts" to make a transfer to your own Britline accounts (savings or current accounts).

  1. Click on “Continue” for a transfer today or click on "Today" to choose a future date.

If you want to set up a standing order, click on "Standing order".

  1. Enter the amount.
  2. Add a reference and/or Reason for your transfer (optional).
  3. Click on "Continue".
  4. Check the transfer summary.
  5. Click on “Confirm the transfer" to confirm.
  6. Enter your SécuriPass code (4 digits) or the code received by SMS (if you don't have SécuriPass) to confirm your identity.

Your transfer has been done and you will receive a confirmation email in your secure box.
