Adding a beneficiary

If you need to make a transfer to a new beneficiary, you will need to add their bank details to your Ma Banque(1) app or online banking. 

If your transfer is urgent and needs to be made before the obligatory security delay (48 hours), we recommend you to download the Ma Banque app and activate SécuriPass(2) (free service). It will allow you to add a new beneficiary and make a transfer immediately.

How to add a new transfer beneficiary:

  1. Log in with your account number (11 digits) and personal code (6 digits).
  2. Click on "Virement".
  3. Click on "Gérer mes bénéficiaires"
  4. Click on "Ajouter un bénéficiaire".
  5. Enter the beneficiary’s name, a personalised name (optional) and their IBAN number.
  6. Click on "Vérifier le bénéficiaire" and click on "Valider" if the beneficiary matches the IBAN.
  7. Enter your SécuriPass code (4 digits) or the code received by SMS (if you don't have SécuriPass) to confirm your identity.

Your new beneficiary is added. You can immediately make your transfer (or 48 hours later if you haven't used SécuriPass).

  1. Log in with your personal code (6 digits).
  2. Click on “Transfer” at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Click on “Manage my beneficiaries" and "Add a beneficiary”.
  4. Enter or scan the beneficiary's IBAN number.
  5. Enter the beneficiary's name.
  6. Click on "Verify the beneficiary" and click on "Save" if the beneficiary matches the IBAN.
  7. Enter your SécuriPass code (4 digits) or the code received by SMS (if you don't have SécuriPass) to confirm your identity.

Your new beneficiary is added. You can immediately make your transfer (or 48 hours later if you haven't used SécuriPass).
