Cancelling your house insurance

If you have sold your property in France, you can easily cancel your house insurance contract using your online banking. 

Easy steps to cancel your house insurance contract:

  1. Log on to your secure online banking.
  2. Find "Mes assurances” at the bottom right and click on “Afficher mes assurances” to choose your contract.
  3. Click on “Résilier mon contrat”.
  4. Click on “Résilier en ligne”.
  5. Click on “Commencer la résiliation”.
  6. Validate or modify your email address.
  7. If you have sold your French property, click on “Oui”.
  8. Enter the date of sale.
  9. Click on “Continuer”.
  10. Sign your cancellation request.

And that's it! You will receive an email confirming that your request has been received.

 

Good to know:

  • The effective date of cancellation will be the date of sale of the property + 1 day (cancellation effective at midnight).
  • The rebate of any premium due will be reimbursed to the paying bank account around 15 days later. 
  • This could include any monthly debit that is scheduled to be taken in the next 30 days after your cancellation request is acted upon.

This policy is distributed by your Crédit Agricole Regional Branch, which is registered with ORIAS as an insurance broker under number 07 022 868. You have a legal right of withdrawal when taking out a policy following sollicitations and/or distance selling.
