Checking or modifying your card limits

Do you need more flexibility with your debit card? You can instantly increase your card limits from your online banking or your Ma Banque app(1)

The new limits will be temporary until the end of the current month

Before we start, this will help: 

  1. “Plafond de paiement” is the maximum that you can spend every month.
  2. “Plafond de retrait” is the maximum that you can withdraw in cash over a 7-day rolling period
  3. If you need higher card limits or perhaps over a longer period of time, please contact us.

 

  1. From the home page, click on “Gérer mes cartes” on the right-hand side.
  2. Click on the card in your name.
  3. Under “Mes plafonds”, you will see your card limits as well as how much of the limit you have used.
  4. Click on ”Augmenter mes plafonds”.

You will see your current card limits and the suggested new card limits that are automatically proposed.

  1. Click on “Valider”.
  2. If you have SécuriPass(2), click on “Confirmer l’augmentation” and enter your 4-digit SécuriPass code (or use the biometrics). Then, click on “D’accord”.
  3. If you don’t have SécuriPass, click on “Envoyer un code” and enter the code received by text and click on “Continuer”.

And that’s it! They will be activated immediately and you will receive a confirmation email.

  1. From the home screen, click on “Cards”.
  2. Click on the card in your name that you wish to change the limits on.
  3. Then, click on “Augmenter mes plafonds”.

You will see your current card limits and the suggested new card limits that are automatically proposed.

  1. Click on ”Valider”.
  2. If you have SécuriPass(2), click on “Confirmer l’augmentation” and enter your 4-digit SécuriPass code (or use the biometrics). Then, click on “D’accord”.
  3. If you don’t have SécuriPass, click on “Envoyer un code” and enter the code received by text and click on “Continuer”.

And that’s it! They will be activated immediately and you will receive a confirmation email.

 

Good to know:

Under “Gérer ma carte” (online banking) or “Cards” (Ma Banque app), you can also instantly activate or de-activate the following options:

  • “Paiement sans contact”= Contactless payments
  • “Paiement à distance”= Online payments (e.g. Internet, telephone…)
  • “Operations à l’étranger”= Payments and cash withdrawals outside France
