Checking or modifying your card limits

Do you need more flexibility with your debit card? You can instantly increase your card limits from  your Ma Banque app(1) or your online banking. 

The new limits will be temporary until the end of the current month:

  1. The “Plafond de paiement” is the maximum that you can spend every month.
  2. The “Plafond de retrait” is the maximum that you can withdraw in cash over a 7-day rolling period. 

If you need higher card limits or over a longer period of time, please contact us.

How to check or increase your card limits: 

  1. Log in with your account number (11 digits) and personal code (6 digits).
  2. Click on "Comptes & cartes".
  3. Click on "Gérer mes cartes" and select your card.

You will see your card limits and how much you have already spent.

  1. Click on "Augmenter mes plafonds" to increase your payment and withdrawal limits.

You will see your current card limits ("Actuel") and the suggested new card limits ("Proposé").

  1. Click on “Confirmer” to validate your new card limits.
  2. Enter your SécuriPass code (4 digits) or the code received by SMS (if you don't have SécuriPass) to confirm your identity.

Your new temporary card limits are activated immediately and you will receive a confirmation email.

  1. Log in with your personal code (6 digits)
  2. Click on "Cards".
  3. Select your card and click on “Augmenter mes plafonds”.

You will see your current card limits and the suggested new card limits.

  1. Click on ”Valider”.
  2. Enter your 4-digit SécuriPass code (or use the biometrics) or the code received by SMS (if you don't have SécuriPass) to confirm your identity.

Your new temporary card limits are activated immediately and you will aslo receive a confirmation email.

You can also instantly activate or deactivate the following options online:

  • Contactless payments (“Paiement sans contact”)
  • Online payments (“Paiement à distance”)
  • Payments and cash withdrawals outside France (“Operations à l’étranger”)
  • E-commerce renewal ("Renouvellement e-commerce") for automatic update of your card details with online retailers.
