What do I do next?

I have a Britline International Payments Account
  1. Log on to your Britline International Payments account and transfer your funds to your CA Britline account.
  2. Call us as soon as the funds are showing on your account to open your DAT Britline Xchange account.
  3. Your DAT contracts will be sent to you for signature and return to CA Britline.
I do not have a Britline International Payments Account
  1. Register with Britline International Payments Service
    IMPORTANT-To activate your account, you must accept the terms & conditions sent by email to you from HiFX.
  2. Once your account has been created follow ‘I have a Britline International Payments Account’ and send your funds over.


(1) Gross annual percentage rate as of 03.10.2016. The DAT is a fixed term deposit account with a 6 month term, opened with a single credit and is non-renewable. The interest is calculated and paid at the end of the contract, no interest will be paid if the account is closed before term. The minimum investment is 1000€, maximum 500 000€.
The DAT “Britline Xchange II” can only be subscribed to by private individuals holding a current account with CA Britline.
The rate of annual interest applicable is based on the impossibility to request a withdrawal before the end of its term. If you do request the reimbursement of your investment according to the terms of the contract the notice period of 32 days will be applied (Day+ 31 days) and your account reimbursed at the end of this period.

(2) The funds deposited on to the DAT must be new funds sent via the Britline International Payments Service in pounds sterling and converted into €’s in to your current account. The funds must be received onto your CA Britline account in euros less than one month prior to the opening of the DAT.

French residents: 2013 tax legislation for French residents.
The 2013 tax legislation states that savings products with fixed revenues will have the same rate of tax applied as your income tax rates. Effective from the 01/01/2013, an advance of 24% will be deducted at source from the interest earned and will then be taken into account when calculating your tax liability for the year in which you received the interest.

The interest rate is correct at 03/10/2016 and is subject to change without prior notice. Social charges are applicable for French residents. It is the responsibility of non-residents to declare any interest earned to the UK tax authorities.
