Britline Newsletter July 2017

Phone lines are now open over lunchtime so you can now contact us from 8.45am to 6pm French time, Monday through to Friday.
Our blog has been launched and it’s where you will find interesting information on culture, everyday banking and general tips regarding France. Below are some snippets of what you can find.
Summer is finally here
If you are spending your holidays in Normandy or even passing through this summer why not discover the beauty of Normandy’s Cote Fleurie.
Pretty houses, flowering gardens, beaches and ports. Honfleur, Trouville sur Mer and Houlgate are just some of the places on the Cote Fleurie to discover this summer.
Online Security-Don’t let the fraudsters catch you out
Did you know that the most common passwords can be cracked in seconds? Dates of birth, children’s and pets names as well as basic number compositions are all easy for a seasoned hacker to obtain and let’s not forget the post it notes that you may leave lying around the house for potential burglars to find.
How to make sure you stay safe and secure when surfing on the internet.
Looking Forward

Is your child currently attending a French school or will be from September? Do you want to protect your family in the event of personal injury?
If you answer yes to either of these questions speak to us about "school insurance"(1) and personal injury protection (GAV)(1), which cover the legal requirements that schools will ask you to provide.
If you already have home insurance in place we may only need to activate the option "school insurance"(1). What’s more the GAV(1) can be put in to place for all of the family not just your children.
Don’t leave things too late this summer!

New Partner(2) for CA Britline

CA Britline is proud to be in partnership with Open Gardens/Jardin Ouverts.

Visit gardens in France this summer or open up your garden for visitors.

Investment Opportunities for You
In order to diversify your available funds and boost your return why not invest in formula funds or bonds over a medium to long term period?
Good to Know

Have you tried out the new BIPS(3) rate alert service yet? This service lets YOU decide on the exchange rate that you are hoping to achieve. You can then sit back whilst BIPS(3) monitor the markets for you. You will be advised by email or text when that rate becomes available. The service will soon be available via our app My Britline also!
Make life easier even before transferring your funds!
